There they were: eight of the most talented Male Promotional Models in the country, in a room full of three hundred beautiful women. Not too bad, right?

Here at Model Machine, we were proud to be on hand for the second annual Perfectly Posh UnConventional conference in Chicago, held at the luxurious Swissotel this July. It was a fun and exciting event, as the top Perfectly Posh sales reps in the country came together for three days of demos, presentations, and leadership exercises. Our male promotional models had an absolute blast, doing everything from live skits to Q&A’s and stage presentations. It was a perfect marriage of two of the nation’s most exciting young brands – the fun and empowering Perfectly Posh, and the experts in experiential marketing, Model Machine.

‘Perfect’ Presentations

Perfectly Posh is a unique new cosmetics line that specializes in selling products that pamper women. But their value proposition goes beyond just makeup and skin lotions. There’s a deeper message behind their products: that women deserve nothing but the best, and the only thing better than pampering yourself is helping your friends do the same. It’s a powerful message, and legions of women have responded. Over the last two years, Posh has built up an impressive network of independent consultants – women who’ve taken up the Perfectly Posh brand and are helping spread its products and message to the world.

Of course, in order to sell these great products, those consultants need a little brand training first. And that’s where Model Machine’s male promotional models stepped in. For three days at Perfectly Posh UnConventional, our talented models worked directly with brand representatives to help illustrate the selling points of the different Posh lines. They met with women one-on-one, led group events, and even had the entire room laughing with the simulated sales meetings they performed on stage. It was a textbook example of experiential marketing: our male promotional models connected with their audience emotionally through their talent and charm, while still conveying the concrete value of the products they presented.

One Down, Many to Go

By the end of the weekend, everyone was a little sad to see each other go. But of course, the silver lining is always next year. And if this year’s conference was any indication, Perfectly Posh UnConventional Three will be one event that Model Machine won’t want to miss.
